What It Is
Consultation is the act of providing informed perspective, asking questions for clarification and exploration, challenging assumptions, and serving as a critical friend and resource to the leader, the team, and the organization.

Entering a consulting relationship with Macy Leadership Group provides you a resource you can call upon to provide a dispassionate analysis of situations,  i.e. proposed actions, processes that are being considered, systems and interactions that are currently in place.   As clarity emerges about the nature of the opportunity or risk that faces the organization or team, a consultant may suggest alternatives for action. 

Consultation may also be provided to help a team develop organizational initiatives and a strategic future orientation.  This work has been done with numerous organizations in both large and small group consultation/facilitation.  The results include increased communication of everyone’s ideas and strategic plans built on the contributions of all in attendance.
